C. Donna Roquemore, age 72, of DeBerry, Texas, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Saturday afternoon, August 9, 2025, in Longview, Texas, surrounded by family and friends. Donna was born on November 14, 1952, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to the late Nick and Faye Hix and was lovingly raised by the late Faye and Harold Sanderson. She grew up in Amarillo, Texas where she graduated from high school with the class of 1970. She later attended West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1997. Donna spent many years as a case work supervisor for CASA in Tarrant County, Texas where she was dedicated to the well-being of neglected and abused children. She enjoyed painting and was quite good at it. Donna was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carthage.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Michael Roquemore; step-sons she called her own, Billy Cady and wife Barbara and Joe Cady and wife Stephanie of Levant, Maine; brother, Quinten Hix and wife Joanne of Southlake, Texas; sister, Janice Coulter of Grapevine, Texas; sister, BeAnn Kurtz of Bloomfield, New Mexico; brother, Dusty Sanderson and wife Dana of Amarillo; beloved niece, Jamey Sharpe and husband Lawsen of Tyler, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Jeff Armstrong and James McRight officiating. Interment will follow in DeBerry Cemetery with Dr. Allen Tilley officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Lynn Poss, John DeWitt, David Fleming, Dean Yates, Gary Hickey, and Richard McFadden.
