Donna Mae RuLon, 83, passed away on March 22, 2026, in Clemmons, NC.
Donna was born on May 31, 1942, in Akron, Ohio, to Edwin Rose Finegan and Maxine Annette Dowling Finegan, along with her brother Eddie Finegan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Evelyn Finegan, and her stepbrother, Dug Deans.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 64 years, Dale Paul RuLon; son, David RuLon; daughter, Denise Clegg; her husband, Ramon Clegg; four grandchildren, Halie, Nicole, Malaree, and Travis; and two great-grandchildren, Bjorn and Laithum.
Donna lived a life grounded in faith, love, and service. She was a devoted pastor’s wife. Her faith and close relationship with God defined her and were reflected in her kindness, patience, and caring nature. She naturally connected with people, making them feel seen, cared for, and at home.
She had a deep love for sewing and creating, and she shared this passion with those around her. Whether working with family or creating for the community, her work reflected her care and dedication.
As a mother, she gave unwavering support, guidance, and understanding. She offered love, reassurance, and strength, remaining a steady and comforting presence in their lives.
As a grandmother, she was gentle, sweet, and comforting. She created a sense of tenderness and peace that made every moment special. The time spent with her—sewing blankets, baking her famous snickerdoodles, or simply being together—will be treasured.
Donna was deeply loved by her family and everyone who knew her, and she will continue to live on through the lives she touched.
