Donna Schumann, on 7/16/2025, age 80, reuniting with husband Jim Schumann. Preceded in death by parents Louis E. and Marjorie L. Konc (nee Mitchell), sister Maria L. Matesevac, and great-grandson Joseph. Survived by children Gerald (Nina) Abernathy, Adam (Kristin) Abernathy, Amanda (Craig) Bailey, and stepchildren Missy (Jim) Jaycox, Tony Schumann, and Scott (Toni) Schumann; siblings Richard "Sonny" (Peggie) Konc, Louis (Carol) Konc, Annette (Stephen) Vertin, and John (Debbie) Konc; 21 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many other dear relatives and friends. Visit 8/1 at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons County Parlors, 4-8 PM. Funeral 8/2 at the same location, 10 AM. Interment in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. ziegenheinfuneralhome.com

Donna worked very hard for the south county chamber of commerce for 30 Plus years. Always energetic and pleasant. Always trying to make it better for all of us. I know some health issues affected her but before that she was a dinamo. Thanks for what you did for our area.
