Donna Shaw Perge, born on January 3, 1954, in Staten Island, New York to her parents Donald and Jeanne. Donna transitioned peacefully from this life on September 9, 2025. 

She was a cherished member of her community and an exemplary nurse at Pilgrim State Hospital, where she dedicated many years of her life to caring for others.

Her kindness and devotion extended far beyond her professional life. Donna was a loving wife to her husband, Stephen J. Perge, and a proud mother to her two sons, Ian Perge and Timothy Perge, who, along with his wife Christine, were a source of joy and pride for her. The love she shared with her family was profound, and she was regarded as the heart of their home—a place filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support.

Throughout her life, Donna demonstrated an unyielding commitment to those around her, balancing her career and family life with grace. Known for her gentle spirit and secure companionship, she positively impacted all who had the privilege to know her. Her memory will forever remain a beacon of love and kindness in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of compassion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have her in their lives.
