Donna Shird Obituary
Donna was born on February 5, 1960 in Carbondale, IL to Naomi Shird-Tucker and Orland Pratt, Sr.
Donna worked for Peoria District 150 for over 10 years as a cafeteria aide. She was outgoing and had lots of friends. Donna was always the life of the party. She enjoyed playing cards and watching football with family and friends. Donna was a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan.
Donna leaves to cherish her most precious memories her father, Orlando Pratt, Sr. of Chicago, IL; one son, Christopher (LaShownda) Watkins, Sr. of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, Erica (Tony) Shird-Welch of Peoria, IL and Elisha (Jabbar) Thomas of Stone Mountain, GA; three brothers, Adrian "David" (Tiffany) Shird of Powder Springs, GA, Jyair Shird-Tucker of Peoria, IL and Orlando Pratt, Jr. of Rock Island, IL; four sisters, Darlene (Jimmy) Shird-Davis, Bernita "Kay" Shird, Rosie "Netta" (David) Shird-Chaplin all of Peoria, IL and Sonia Pratt of Mounds City, IL and a host of other paternal brothers and sisters; seven grandchildren, Kiare, Kasia, Karia, Kurion, Kyia, Christopher, Jr. and Treshawn; two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother; step father, Bobby "Sonny" Tucker and one son, Gregory Watkins, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm – 4 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at The Pavilion at Trewyn Park.
