Donna Spillane Obituary
Donna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, creator, artist, and teacher. Donna was known for her generosity of spirit, kindness to others and her tender and loving heart. Donna's life was marked by her love and care for her family and her community (both in Chelmsford and on The Cape), her faith in the good in others, and her ability to create beauty all around her. She is deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Chuck, her children Ali of South Dennis, and Tessa and her wife Beth and granddaughter Charlie of Natick; her brother Frank Julian and wife Jeanne of Watertown; her nephews Chris Julian and wife Amory, and their children, of Cohasset, Michael Julian and his wife Stacie of Cohasset, Greg Julian and wife Marilou, and their children of Marshfield; her niece Sarah (Julian) Larson and husband Chad, and their children of Newton, NH. She is predeceased by her cherished family members, her sister Mary Lou (Julian) Natoli, her brother Robert (Bob) Julian, her sister Carol Julian, and her nieces Lisa Natoli and Ann Natoli.
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the dearest of friends & neighbors on Herring Run for filling Donna's bucket with such joy, friendship, and love; and to the brilliant providers at Massachusetts General Hospital and Hope Lodge for their loving and determined care.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 24, from 4pm-7pm, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 678 Main Street Ext, Harwich, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, July 25, at 11am, at Holy Trinity Church, 246 Main Street, West Harwich, MA.
In lieu of flowers, the family hopes that you will honor Donna's memory through charitable contributions to: The American Cancer Society
