In loving memory of Donna Pearl Tate, whose vibrant spirit and infectious laughter filled the hearts of those around her. Born on April 18, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, Donna was a pillar of strength and joy, dedicating her life to family and community. She departed this world on August 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy woven with love and unforgettable memories.

A proud graduate of LG Pinkston High School in 1974, Donna was known for her outgoing personality, fiercely outspoken nature, and an unwavering confidence that resonated with everyone she encountered. She was the life of the party, effortlessly bringing people together with her warmth and generosity. Her giving spirit was matched only by her deep faith in God and commitment to her church, where she found solace and purpose.

Donna's heart was made complete through her beloved family. She is survived by her son, Kendrick Nash, who carries her spirit forward in all that he does. She took immense pride in being a mother and grandmother, cherishing the joyful moments spent with her four grandchildren. The love she shared will echo through their lives, a testament to her nurturing soul. Her beloved mother, Lola, and her sisters, Amy and Tammie, stand united in their grief, remembering Donna as the radiant light she always was. A host of relatives and friends mourn her passing, each holding a cherished memory that reflects her kindness and vibrant energy.

In her leisure, Donna found joy in dancing and singing, often hosting gatherings that overflowed with laughter and her delectable cooking. She embraced life with a well-kept appearance and a heart full of love, creating a space for all to feel welcomed and appreciated.

The viewing service to honor Donna will take place on August 8, 2025, from 12 PM to 7 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Following this, her funeral service will be held at New Leaf Missionary Baptist Church on August 9, 2025, beginning at 11 AM.

As we gather to celebrate her remarkable life, let us remember the indelible mark she left on this world. Though she may no longer walk among us, Donna Pearl Tate’s spirit will forever shine brightly in the hearts and memories of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
