Died: June 7, 2025 in Cherry Valley, IL
Donna Jeanne (McKee) Turner of Cherry Valley, IL passed away on Saturday June 7th, 2025 at home after a short battle with cancer. Donna was born February 12th, 1948 in Sycamore. She grew up in Kirkland, attending Hiawatha Schools. She married Tyrone Turner on September 28th, 1968. After beauty school Donna cut hair out of her home. She worked as an aid at Sycamore Hospital and as a welder at Tuttle Electric. Donna found her career working for DeKalb Ag/Monsanto in Human Resources for over 30 years where she received many awards and honors for her work. Donna was an active member in the Kirkland United Methodist Church. She spearheaded many programs and fundraisers to help her community and the less fortunate. Donna is survived by her husband Tyrone, brother Gregg McKee, son Shane (Alison) Turner and her granddaughters Kendall and Devon Turner. She is predeceased by her parents Don and Helen McKee and sister Judy Prindiville. Memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on July 11th at the Kirkland United Methodist Church, 300 South Street, Kirkland, IL with Rev. Dee Mede officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kirkland United Methodist Church.

I still enjoy many recipes that Donna shared with me through her dear sister Judy who was a very dear friend of mine. We also cherish the many wonderful stories of her son Shane who was such a special part of Donna's life along with Ty her devoted husband. We send our condolences to the family. She will be missed by many.
