Donna Wieland Obituary
SELKIRK - Donna J. Wieland, 83, of Selkirk, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, with her loving family by her side. Born in Glens Falls, N.Y., on August 8, 1942, she is the daughter of the late Howard and Ida (McDonald) Dalton.
She was predeceased by her loving daughter, Valerie J. Wieland; her two brothers, Edward and James; as well as her sister, Elaine.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Richard C. Wieland Sr.; son, Richard Wieland (Yvette Saucier); daughters, Bonnie Kennedy (Kevin), and Donna Pelletier; along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
During her lifetime, she worked for Farm Family Insurance in Glenmont for many years. She was a beloved soul who touched many lives. Her laughter and wisdom was a gift to everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. "Even though you flew away, in our hearts you'll always stay."
The family thanks the kind staff from The Community Hospice in the capital region for their compassion and care.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Babcock Funeral Home, 19 Pulver Ave., Ravena, N.Y. 12143.
