Obituary
Donna E. Wiesniak, 72, of Cheshire, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Robert J. Wiesniak, who shared over 50 years together.
Donna was born on November 25, 1950 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Elizabeth "Betty" (Lagownik) and John Baker.
Donna met the love of her life and future husband, Robert, when she was 21 and they were the perfect complement to one another. Donna had a vivacious, outgoing personality and loved to have fun. She was the life of the party and made friends with everyone she met. She had a warm and caring heart and was always looking out for others. Donna enjoyed decorating her home, making flower arrangements, and spending time with her family.
Left to cherish Donna's memory is her loving husband Robert; her son Jonathan Wiesniak and his wife Esther of Pembroke Pines, FL; her two grandchildren Khuyana and Kassy; her nieces and nephews: Garrett, Ronnie, Brendan, Jessica, Hannah, Carly, and Laurie, as well as many dear friends. In addition to her parents, Donna is predeceased by her brother Gary Baker.
Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many, and will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 10 to 11am on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd., Prospect, with a service beginning at 11am.
