It is with heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of Donnabelle Kay Johnson-Willis, 78, at her home in Camden, IN. Her beloved family was by her side at the time of passing. She bravely battled lung cancer for 4 years. She always considered herself as the "storm" while fighting her battle.

Donna was born on September 20, 1947 in Lafayette. Her parents were the late Harry Noel Hammond and Josephine Marie (Hopper) Hammond. She was a resident of both Clinton and Carroll County throughout her life. She attended Clinton Central Schools for part of her adolescent years and later graduated from Carroll High School in 1965. For most of her life, she was a homemaker and stay at home mother.

She married Jack Dean Johnson on September 30, 1965, and they had 3 children: John, Karen, and Kristy. Later she adopted a second son (her great nephew) Kenneth Johnson. She married George Francis Willis on August 16, 1986 and were together until his passing.

Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, horseback riding, bird watching, drag racing, motorcycle rides, sunbathing, visiting the beach at Michigan City, and dancing and singing at the Cutler Pickin' Parlor.

Donna is survived by her oldest son John (Angie) Johnson, daughter Kristy (Steve) Jones, and youngest son Kenneth Johnson; grandchildren Karlee (Braden) Sparks, Jessie Jones, Brent Johnson, Jennah Jones, and Erika Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her father Harry Hammond; mother Josephine Hammond; husband Jack Johnson; husband George Willis; brothers Harry Hammond, Frank Hammond, Jack Hammond, Terry Hammond; sisters Mae Bondurant and Joann Jenkens; and daughter Karen Sparks.
