DonnaLee Marie Scott Morschhauser passed away early morning on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at the age of 95. She was born in Detrich, ID on January 22, 1930, daughter of the late Alva B. and Estella Marie Downs Scott.

DonnaLee graduated from Detrich High School in 1949 and promptly hopped a train to the big city of Erie, PA to live with her uncle, Dr. Alva Scott. She attended Villa Maria College and upon graduation, began her career at General Electric in a variety of office positions.

Always busy and full of energy, DonnaLee raised a family, picked and tied grapes, had an enormous garden, taught sewing for 4-H and later became one of the most avid quilters in the tri-state area. She was a life member of the Siebenbuerger Club, member of the East Erie Moose Lodge, the Erie Quilt Guild, Conneaut Quilt Guild, Westfield Quilt Guild and the North East Quilt Guild.

DonnaLee had a green thumb and grew so many items in her garden including blueberries, gooseberries, currants, asparagus, two varieties of grapes, strawberries and so much more. Her produce was canned, jarred, jammed and although she didn't drink alcohol, she became a proficient wine maker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William "Bill"; and her eldest son, Wayne. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Benim; son, Scott Morschhauser; daughter-in-law, Laurel Morschhauser; her grandsons, Eric Morschhauser (Merrylee) and Sean Benim (Shannon); granddaughter, Lisa Draper (Sam); along with her great-grandchildren, Lily, Ezra, Eli, Levi and Rose Lee Morschhauser and Laurie and Jack Draper.

Friends may call at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, 837 Bartlett Road on Tuesday, November 25th, from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Service there at 11 am. Entombment will be held at Mary, Queen of Peace Mausoleum. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. Condolences may be sent to www.dusckasfuneralhomes.com.
