Ruth Nichols

Ruth M. Nichols, age 98, of Erie, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025. She was born in Brookville, PA on February 19, 1927, daughter of the late Ellsworth and Claribel Swires Osborn.

Ruth was a member of the JFK Senior Center and enjoyed sewing and embroidering. She cherished her time spent with family and grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by three daughters, Sandra Shefchunas (Thomas), Patricia Twohig (Thomas) and Deborah "Deb" Kucharski; one son, William "Billy" Nichols; grandchildren, Thomas, Christen, Thomas II, Melissa, Jennifer, Ashley, David, Adriann, Marie, Mya and Maegan; 14 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Andrew John Krishak; one sister, Patricia Osborn; and two brothers, William Osborn and Harry Osborn.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Friday, November 21st, from 11 am until the time of the Funeral Service there at 1 pm.
