His dedication earned him numerous recognition and achievement awards, a testament to his hard work and the respect he garnered from colleagues and patrons alike.
A graduate of Langley University, Donell exhibited the qualities of a wonderful, kind, and giving person. He treated everyone with respect and without judgment, embodying a spirit of generosity that touched the lives of those around him. As a reliable and faithful friend, he never failed those he cared about, always ready with a comforting word or a helping hand.
Those who knew him cherished his passion for food, often recalling his delightful trips to enjoy lunch with his god sister. Whether he was enjoying the thrill of lottery tickets, the camaraderie of bingo games, or the excitement of casinos, Donell approached every experience with joy, unaffected by the wins or losses. As we mourn his passing, we gather not just to grieve but to celebrate a life well-lived. His visitation will take place on August 11, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas.
