Donnie Ray Eason

Donnie Wayne Eason, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on January 7, 2026, in Wilmington, North Carolina, at the age of 46. Born on July 28, 1979, in Wilmington, Donnie spent his life in the community he loved so dearly.

Donnie was a skilled professional, dedicating his career to home painting and glass installation with the Standard Glass Company. His work was marked by attention to detail and a commitment to quality, earning him the respect and admiration of both colleagues and clients.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Donnie was a man of many talents. A gifted musician and artist, he found joy in playing the drums, creating art, and bringing beauty into the lives of those around him. His creativity and passion were evident in everything he did, from his music to his ability to repair or fix nearly anything. He had an uncanny knack for finding solutions and making things work better.

Donnie's legacy will continue through the memories shared by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Donald Ray Eason and Debra Lee Eason of Leland, NC; his two cherished daughters, Jasmine LaBreque and Savannah Eason; and his brother, Eric Eason. Each held a special place in his heart and will forever carry forward his spirit of love, laughter, and resilience.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 6 pm on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Donnie's life and to share stories and memories that highlight the beautiful impact he had on all who knew him.

Donnie's warm smile, generous spirit, and artistic soul will be deeply missed but always remembered by those who had the privilege to know him.
