Mrs. Donnie "Donna" Kate Jefferson Donnie Kate Jefferson was born to Ezell and Ida Lou Har-
rion on May 3, 1955. Mrs. Jeffer-son was raised in Columbus,MS. She confessed her life to
Christ at an early age. Mrs. Jef-ferson was known for her crea- tivity and willingness to help
others. She was the matriarch of her family and a loving wife. She loved spending time with
her family and friends, deco-rating, dancing, baking, shop-ping, and traveling. She
worked at Baptist Memorial Hospital in the Food and Nutrition Department for 38 years.
Sunday, January 26, 2025 she departed this life at Baptist Me-morial Hospital in Columbus, MS. She was 69 years old. Mrs. Jefferson is preceded in death by her parents, Ezell and Ida Lou
Harris. She leaves to cherish memories with her husband, Ev-ern L. Jefferson. Daughters, Tenisha Harris, Lashondra Harris,
Michelle Echoles, Jessica Jefferson, and Jewel Jefferson. Sons, Darrett Harris, Shavazza Harris (Elaine Harris) of Columbus, MS, Javaris Jefferson, Javon Jefferson, Barry Jefferson Sr.(WestPoint, MS), Jonathan Jefferson, (Salt Lake CIty, UT). Grand-daughters, Jasmine Harris, Zyerria Harris, and Azyaria Harris
(Columbus, MS). Grandsons, Tarasman Harris, Demarvion Lacey, Zywan Lacey, Daron Harris, Davon Harris, (Columbus,MS) and five great grandchildren. Siblings, Sam Harris (Raynell "Sunshine" Harris), Linda Brown (Larry Brown), Ern-est Harris, Bobby Harris (Betty Harris), Dennis Harris, and Ha-
zel Harris Edwards (Jerome Edwards), Dell Jackson, Jackie Jackson, Pearlie Leach, and Lisa Tollderive. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, Comfort Care, MS Home
Health, and Baptist Memorial Hospital.
