Golden Gate Funeral Home - Fort WorthDonnie Ray Johnson, affectionately known as D-Bone, departed this life on August 9, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on June 22, 1958, in Pineville, Louisiana, Donnie's journey through life was marked by his passion for creativity and community.
A man of many talents, Donnie found joy in painting at construction sites, transforming spaces with his artistic touch. His love for working on cars reflected his hands-on spirit and problem-solving skills, always eager to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors alike. Those who knew him best would often recall his easy-going nature and unwavering willingness to assist others in any way he could.
Donnie will be remembered not only for his artistic endeavors but also for the strong connections he fostered with those around him. His companionship and loyalty entrenched him in the hearts of many, forming deep friendships that enriched his life and the lives of others.
A wake to honor Donnie will take place on August 29, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service on August 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Both services will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas.
As we reflect on the memories shared and the warmth Donnie brought into our lives, we celebrate his spirit and the legacy he leaves behind. He will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
