LATONYA RENEE WILLIAMS, born on February 25, 1974, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital of Fort Worth.
Latonya was a cherished individual known for her vibrant spirit and her profound love for the arts. She had a passion for reading and found joy in writing poetry that expressed her innermost thoughts and emotions. An avid colorist, she embraced the therapeutic nature of coloring, creating works that brought her great satisfaction. Dancing was another outlet for her creativity, as she loved to express herself through movement. Additionally, Latonya enjoyed playing card games, particularly “Spades,” often bringing friends and family together for spirited rounds that fostered connection and laughter.
The warmth of her character shone brightly, making an indelible impression on those who had the honor of knowing her. She brought people together through her interests and hobbies, creating moments of joy and cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of many.
Latonya's passing is marked by the profound loss felt by her family and friends, particularly following the death of her mother, Joyce Marie Bassett, just 30 days prior. Together they are remembered with love and admiration for the legacies they leave behind.
A graveside service in her honor will take place on August 22, 2025, at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Arlington, TX. The service is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM, with family and friends gathering to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many.
Latonya Renee Williams's light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
