Donnie Lee Krutsinger, 91, passed away on May 4, 2025 at her home. She was born on October 21, 1933, in Richland, Missouri, to the late James and Lola (Drennan) Johnson.
A proud graduate of Richland High School in 1949, Donnie's thirst for knowledge and her desire to serve others led her to pursue a career in nursing. She earned her LPN at the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and later achieved her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Missouri Southern State University. She spent many years as a devoted nurse at Dr. C.B. Schoeberl's office, then at St. John's Hospital and later at Oxford Home Health, where she retired 15 years ago. Beyond her professional endeavors, Donnie was a woman of diverse interests. She loved bird watching, the St. Louis Cardinals, and enjoyed being a faithful member of Blendville Christian Church and Carl Junction Christian Church.
Donnie married her beloved husband, Bobbie Clarence Krutsinger on December 25, 1952 in Arkansas. Together they raised a loving family. Donnie and Bobbie embarked on a significant project, the development of Fountain Estates in 2000.
She is survived by her children, Susie McDonald (Clark Wagoner), Deanna McKay (Hugh), Robert Krutsinger (Shelley), and Greg Krutsinger (Lisa); grandchildren, Heath McKay, Jarrod McKay, Karyssa Cizek, Kassey Krutsinger, Kallea Baty, Kris Krutsinger, and Kooper Krutsinger; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobbie Krutsinger; son, Bobbie Craig Krutsinger; sister, Bonnie Dickenson; and brother, James Johnson.
A graveside service is planned for Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin, MO. The family invites friends for a time of visitation at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service at Parker Mortuary Chapel in Joplin, MO.
