Donnis Wayne Corn, 84, of Colfax, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Hospice Home at High Point.
Born March 14, 1941, in Hendersonville, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Samuel Milton Corn and the late Florence Hazel Bayne Corn. Donnis owned and operated Austin Berryhill Metal Fabrication. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family, playing golf, boating, music, and playing bridge. Donnis was so loved by his family, grandchildren, his wife, and many long term friends.
He is survived by his wife of sixty one years, Pauline Harrison Corn of the home; daughters, Jennifer Alexander of Pleasant Garden and Delynn Morgan (Steven) of Charleston, SC.; sister, Brenda Gray of Hendersonville, NC; grandchildren, Harrison Ingram, Ryan Alexander, Jordan Mengel, Branson Bates, and Tyler Bates.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Bob Alexander, granddaughter, Faith Alexander, and brother-in-law, Terry Gray.
