Dora Lee Bridges
Dora Lee Bridges, 89, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on January 06, 2022 at Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center LLC in Lincolnton, NC. She was born in Gaston County, NC, daughter of the late George Washington and Ada Fields Ross and was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Vernon Bridges. She was also preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters and a grandson, Tracy Bridges. Dora attended East Gold Street Wesleyan Church for a number of years. She worked in the garment business most of her life. She began her career as a seamstress and later became a pattern maker and worked with Ralph Lauren and Polo clothing companies. She owned her own business, Garment Specialist, in Kings Mountain. Dora enjoyed taking strolls in her neighborhood and around town. Later in life she enjoyed working at the Patrick Senior Center in the gift shop. She was a wonderful mother, and grandmother to generations of her grandchildren.

Daughter: Beverly Bridges Small, Kings Mountain, NC
Siblings: Archie Ross (Sheila), Kings Mountain, NC, Pat Ross (Nancy), Lawndale, NC, and Laura Chirstopher (Wayne), Hickory, NC

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Monday, January 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Mountain Rest Cemetery with Pastor David Black officiating
