Dora Ann Harper Cooper

Dora Ann Harper Cooper, 78, widow of the late Charles Edward Cooper, died Monday, August 25, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. A native of Edna, KY in Magoffin County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Rose Helton Harper. She graduated from Magoffin County High School, was a retired Toyota employee of 22 years and of the Christian faith.
She is survived by one son, Charles Brian Cooper; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Emma Jean Harper Yates and two brothers, James Witt Harper and Adrian Harper.
There will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY.
