Funeral Services for Dora Faye Hooper is Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Trezevant. The family will receive friends at the church 10:30 a.m. until service time. Interment is at Trezevant Cemetery and the officiant is Brother Thomas Azbell.
Mrs. Hooper, 79 years old died at her residence on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. She is a member of Shiloh Baptist Church Bradford and worked at Kellwood in Trenton. She was born in Huntingdon on March 8, 1944 to James and Frances Fuller Murphy.
She is survived by her children Tony Montgomery of Bradford, Sandra Montgomery (Tracy Forrest) of Bradford, Deborah (Ira) Harper of Bradford and Angela Mayfield of Camden, step-children Janie Hooper, Lindy Hooper, Lloyd (LeAnn) Hooper, Frank ( Ginger) Hooper and John (Marie) Hooper, Jr., one sister Emma Mae (Gary) Waller of Humboldt, two brothers Lloyd Earl Murphy of Milan and Larry Joe (Sharon) Murphy of Humboldt, 30 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John D. Hooper, step daughter Nina Hooper, one grandson Justin Hooper and one great granddaughter Adilynn Morgan.
