In her journey through life, Dora found joy in the simplest of things. She had a passion for reading, sewing, and gardening. She loved having her family around and enjoyed baking and cooking for them. Dora enjoyed collecting unicorn and owl statues.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Katie Pitre Joubert, Charles Randy Pitre II, and Keith Daniel Hester, along with her great-grandchildren, Tyler James Knott, Blakelyn Celeste Johnson, Stetson Daniel Johnson, and Vivienne Idele Hester. Dora's legacy will live on through each of them.
Dora was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Brown and Ida Johnson Brown, her beloved husband, Kermit Pitre; her son, Charles Randy Pitre; her daughter, Sheila Pitre Hester, and her brother Clayton Fontenot.
Dora's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she may have left this world behind, the memories created with loved ones will forever hold her spirit close.
