Dora Silva Obituary
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 25, 2023 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Dora was born September 17, 1954 in Austin, Texas to Gregory and Carolina Rodriguez Cantu. She loved to play bingo, cards, and cooking. Dora was a member of Nazarene Church in Hereford, TX and she married Ruben Silva in 1972.
Dora is preceded in death by sister, Carolina Cantu Delgado.
She is survived by her husband Ruben Silva of the home; children, Lupita Silva of Plainview, TX, Ruben Silva, Jr. and wife April of Amarillo, TX, and Nancy Ramirez and husband Freddy of Amarillo, TX; siblings, Robert Cantu, Gregory Cantu, Jr., Josie Martinez, Janie Cantu, and Olivia Cantu; grandchildren, Marisa, Lorenzo, Tyler, Sabrina, Savana, Ashley, Luis, Gage, Mason, and Emma; 19 great-grandchildren; and nieces, Linda Cantu and Mary Lou Marquez.
