Doralee A. "Doe" Sheffer

Doralee "Doe" A. (Bamm) Sheffer, 80, of Hanover, passed away at home on July 27. She was born November 7, 1944, in Jackson, Michigan to Raymond and Agnes Bamm.
She married Carl Sheffer on April 13, 1995. She is survived by her husband, Carl; her son, Brian (Shelia) Rogers; three stepsons, Eric (Laura) Sheffer, Curtis (Bobbi Jo) Sheffer, Darin Sheffer and a stepdaughter, Dr. Carla (Bill) Playford; 27 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, six remaining siblings and ten in-laws.
Doralee was preceded in passing by five siblings.
Doralee or "Doe" as she was known, retired from AT&T in 1995 and enjoyed working on their farm with her husband. She enjoyed vegetable gardening, a beautiful flower garden and quilting. They enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. in their camper and fishing at Fletchers Flood Waters for many years. Doralee and Carl faithfully attended the First Baptist Church of Litchfield, and she will be missed by her many friends.

To celebrate Doralee's life, her family will receive friends on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the Hampton Funeral Home in Hillsdale. There will be a service on Friday, August 1, 2025, beginning at 11:00am at Litchfield Baptist Church, 6630 Litchfield Road, Litchfield, MI, with Pastor Brent Stille officiating.
