Dorcy Hugh Whitlow

Dorcy Hugh Whitlow, 86, of Judsonia, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the White County Medical Center in Searcy. He was born September 20, 1928 in the Plainview Community a son of the late Commy and Pearl Wood Whitlow. Dorcy was a retired inspector with the Vickers Corp., a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Judsonia Missionary Baptist Church. He deeply loved his family and possessed a deep passion and talent for singing. He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Doris (Chapman) Whitlow; daughter, Connie Donnell (Kalvin) of Judsonia; grandchildren, Savannah Simmons (John) of Cabot, Jeremiah Donnell and Josiah Donnell both of Judsonia; brother, Boyce Whitlow of Searcy; sister, Foye Moore of Providence. He was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Wood, Leston and Biggen Whitlow, Cloyce Whitlow, Wendell Whitlow and Baby Whitlow. Services will be conducted on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel.
