Dori Elizabeth Moropoulos of Bryant, Arkansas, passed away at age 61 on August 25, 2024. Born June 6, 1963, in Pasadena, California, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, aunt, and bestselling author who touched thousands of lives. Anyone who got to know Dori quickly became her best friend as she kept it very real and was never afraid to speak her mind. She had an almost supernatural talent for decorating and making a home feel special and beautiful at all times.
She is survived by the love of her life, Paul Moropoulos; her three loving sons, Nickolas, Albert, and Andrew Moropoulos; her mother, Doris Garcia; her sister and brother-in-law, Antoinette and Michael Krohn; and her brother Edmund Gonzalez; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends, that to Dori, became extended family.
To honor the indelible mark Dori’s life left on this world, a visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on September 3, 2024, with a service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Benton. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m.at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Dori may have left this earth, but she will never leave our hearts. Her legacy continues to live on through her much-adored family, and the lives of those she most held dear.
