Deleah M. Johnson of Benton, AR left her earthly home on August 22,2025, at the age of 61. Leaving behind a family who loved her deeply, even when she made it difficult. She was born August 27, 1963, to the late Billy “Neilan” Huchingson and Delores J. Puckett in Little Rock, AR.
Deleah was born into this world ornery and managed to maintain that characteristic until her death. She was well known for having a stubborn streak and ornery charm. Her eyes always told the moment she was about to say or do something that would make you shake your head. She was unapologetically herself, qualities that sometimes tested the patience of her family and friends, but also made her unforgettable. She was a woman with a reputation for knowing what she wanted and had no care who liked it or not. She had a sharp tongue and wit about her that made her uniquely her and could make you laugh. If she was ever to set her mind on something, there was no moving her, no matter how hard you tried.
Deleah is survived by her two daughters: Neili (Virgil) Vandegrift of Benton, AR., Mikaela White of Benton, AR. Her brother Kevin Huchingson, four grandchildren; Kaelyn P. Vandegrift, Wrenley D. Wallace, Jensen J. White, and Nori J. White, niece Jessika Huchingson, and great- niece Lola Huchingson each of whom carries a little piece of her spirit: her grit, her humor, and her refusal to back down. She may have left this world, but her stubborn spirit will never be forgotten.
Her family would like to thank the special people at The Springs of Pinnacle as well as the staff at Gentiva Hospice for taking great care of her when we were not able to do so.
The family has decided to grieve in private currently. There will not be a public service provided.
