Doris Mae Bieler, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, at the age of 92. Born to the late Harry and Helen (Maute) Hoffman, Doris lived a life filled with love, dedication, and caring for those around her.
Doris was a proud graduate of the former Pennsburg High School and went on to marry the love of her life, Frederick J. Bieler, in 1952. Together, they shared 53 wonderful years of marriage, cherishing every moment until his passing in 2006. Doris devoted many years to supporting her husband in his insurance business, Frederick W. Bieler Insurance, where she worked as an administrator until their retirement.
Doris loved traveling with Fred, especially enjoying frequent trips to the Jersey Shore. However, the roles she treasured most were those of mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She found immense joy in attending sporting events, celebrations, and family dinners, creating treasured memories.
A member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville, Doris's generous spirit extended to her community as well. She was known for her unwavering kindness, often offering rides to friends and neighbors for doctor appointments, and always extending a helping hand to those in need.
Doris's life was marked by compassion, strength, and a deep love for her family. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Dennis Bieler and wife, Marsha; grandchildren, Heather Burt and David Bieler and wife, Ashely; and her great-grandchildren, Paige, William and Grant Burt.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to New Goshenhoppen UCC.
