Doris A Braughton, age 88 of Columbus, OH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 17, 2025. She was born on December 2, 1936 to the late Morda and Golda Wilson in Louisa, Kentucky. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Norman Braughton Sr, sisters Stella, Jessie, and Clara who passed on January 16, 2025 a day before Doris, brother Joe, grandson James. Doris is survived by her loving children, Carol Tirey, Bud (Julie) Braughton, Joe (Jana) Braughton, Sue (Matt) Stickel, Linda (Scott) Ulrey; grandchildren, Josie, Caleb, Amanda, Angela, Ashley, Joran, Augist, Kaleigh, Kimberly, Kalista, Hannah, Austin, Joey, Anna, Alex, Jacob, Aubrey, Aven; 30 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Highland Baptist Church, 3460 Hoover Rd., Grove City, OH from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am with Pastor Dave Thomas officiating.
Burial to follow at Galloway Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
