Randy E. Thompson, 63 of Washington Courthouse, OH passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Doctor’s West Hospital in Columbus, OH. He was born on January 23, 1963 in Columbus. Randy was part of Ohio Operating Engineers and most recently worked as a heavy equipment operator for SWACO for 14 years in Grove City and had previously worked for Kokosing.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents Everett and Ruth (Hall) Thompson; brothers Danny J. (Ginny) Thompson and Ronnie (Nancy)Thompson.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Connie L. (King) Thompson; sisters Crystal Thompson, Brenda (Gary) Howland; nephews and nieces Matt (Judy) Thompson, Megan (David) Maloney, Taylor (Nick) Evans, Madison Jessie and Devon Brown, Addison and Jude Brown, Jacob and Daniel Thompson, Chrissy Tomlin; numerous other nieces, nephews and family and host of friends.
Visitation with family will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, March 8th at New Beginnings Church, 4239 State Route 316, Ashville, OH 43103 with Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Monday, March 9th followed by Interment at Harrison Township Cemetery in South Bloomfield.
