Doris Brogdon Obituary
Doris was born in Oklahoma to Edie and Luther Wilkey on April 23,1937. She was blessed with 7 sisters and 4 brothers.
Doris married Raymond Brogdon in Fresno California in 1955. They raised 5 children Vera, Charlie,Sharon, Tammy and Robert. Doris worked alongside her husband Raymond in the fields for many years, she had many stories and memories to share. Doris enjoyed her family, she loved talking to her sisters on the phone and having visitors come over to enjoy some "pop" (soda).
Doris is preceded in death by her mother and father Edie and Luther Wilky, Son Charlie Daughters Sharron and Vera and Daughter in law Angela Brogdon. Surviving are her Husband of 70 years Raymond,Daughter Tammy,Son Robert, Sisters Con and Judy, brothers Junior,Jacky,Ronnie,James and many grandchildren whom she loved very much.
The Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday morning July 8th at 10 o'clock, at Arvin Cemetery 15543 S Vineland Rd, Bakersfield CA 93307 To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Doris, please visit our floral store.
