Doris Budhoo was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. She was the gentlest of souls, who's kindness knew no boundaries. You would often find her - rosy cheeked, with a beautiful smile to greet you, welcoming family, friends, and strangers with the same warmth and calming nature. Born in Whim, Guyana, she excelled in every role, leading with compassion, strength, and quiet wisdom. She was a devoted wife to Patrick Budhoo, and a dedicated mother and grandmother.
Life brought its share of challenges, but Mom's unwavering faith and love for her family provided inner strength. She remained commitment to seeking God and continuing to believe in his word, regardless of the misfortunes life dealt her. Her daily entertainment included Tom & Jerry marathons, game shows, historical and documentaries, and her Forensic files, which kept her mind sharp. We would be remiss to exclude her sweet tooth of chocolate cake, ice cream, and frozen fruit bars.
We will miss Mom's beautiful smile, her warm hugs, wisdom and support, but most of all, her love and daily presence in our lives.
