Doris Caffey Obituary
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Ralph Munyon, Sr. and Laura Mae (Russell) Munyon, Doris resided in Buckingham Springs for 25 years before moving to Hatboro.
Doris was the beloved wife of 64 years to the late Leonard "Keith" Caffey. She was predeceased by her eldest daughter Sandy Houston. She was the loving mother of Laura Fiegel (Tom), Keith Caffey (Sue), Steve Caffey (Claire), and Jennifer Munyon (Ed); dear sister of Lois (Bob) Rowe, and Carol (Brian) Sheehan and predeceased by her siblings Ralph Jr., Jack and Mae. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Doris was a member of Doylestown United Methodist Church. Spending time with her family gave her the greatest happiness. She was an avid game player with her favorites being Bingo, Dominoes, any card game, Wii Bowling and corn hole. She loved her monthly trips to Parx Casino with her friends.
A memorial service will be held at Doylestown United Methodist Church, 320 E. Swamp Road, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 11:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00-11:00 am at the church prior to the service.
Interment will be held at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940 on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Doylestown United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
