Doris Joyce (Pachella) Canning
The youngest of 11 children of Fredric and Sarah Pachella. Doris came into this world on July 14, 1941. She was very loved by her family. She was educated by Plymouth Whitemarsh Schools, graduating in 1959.
Her first job was in Philadelphia with Social Security. Eventually she was hired by G.E. in Valley Forge where she was employed for 39 years, doing different tasks involved in customer billing. She retired in 2000.
She was married to Thomas Canning, who adored her, in 1992. They lived in West Norriton for 5 years. In 1992 G.E. transferred Doris to East Windsor, NJ. Tom and Doris moved to Bucks County, PA for 10 years. In 2000 they moved back to West Norriton. They moved to Audubon, PA in 2004. They became members of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Oaks, PA. Doris did not suffer long. She went to be with her Savior on the 3rd of February 2025.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 126 Black Rock Road, Oaks, Pennsylvania on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Jeremiah Mustered. Friends will be received from 10:15 AM-11:00 AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc. Condolences may be offered online at www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
