Doris Caraballo
Ms. Doris Caraballo, 85, of Amsterdam, a native of Puerto Rico, passed away unexpectedly on Monday August 29, 2022
Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico on July 7, 1937 a daughter of the late Pedro and Bienvenida Camacho Caraballo. She was a resident of Puerto Rico attending school their until coming to Amsterdam as a teenager.
Doris was a homemaker and took great care of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Carmen G. Velez, Evelio Homs, Jesus M. Homs,Brunilda Homs, Gabino N. Rivera, Milagros D. Rivera, and Isabel S. Velazquez. She was predeceased by her children: Sonia Velez, Angel Luis Homs, Ana Yamila Rivera, and her two twin Angels.
She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Yaitza, Jacqueline, Xiomary, Jessica, Carlos Javier, Evelio, Stephanie, Sasha, Anthony, Junior (Evelio) Naliani, Aracelis, Wilfredo, Lael, Yeseniairi, Jose, Abdiel, Xiomara, Omayra, Yomaira, Jesus Jr., Jesus JR. II, Carmencita, Yamillette, Natasha, Yesenia, Tanisha, Tabitha, Thomas, Francisco amongst many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchidlren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held privately by the family only. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Please leave condolences online at www.brbsfuneral.com. Any flowers can sent to her youngest daughter's home on September 9th,2022 at 19 DeWitt Street in Amsterdam NY 12010.
