Doris Bernice Cheatum Buckner

Doris Bernice Cheatum Buckner, 68, of Columbia, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023, with her loved ones by her side.
She was born in Mexico, Missouri on October 24, 1954, to the late Marion Coats and Edna Cheatum.
Doris attended Mexico Public Schools. She was a housewife for many years. After 30 years together, Doris married the love of her life; Carl Buckner Jr. on September 6, 2013, in Columbia, Missouri.
Doris enjoyed gambling; going to the boat, playing cards, playing bingo, traveling, listening to music, watching her favorite TV shows, eating Bubble Yum bubble gum, and drinking Pepsi. Most of all, she loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and family members!
She is survived by her husband Carl Buckner, Jr. of Columbia; children: Felicia English of St. Louis, Lena Cheatum(Roy) of Columbia, Rossnette Cheatum of Columbia, Corey Coates(Karen) of Columbia, Ackren Cheatum(Tammy) of Columbia; bonus children: Frances Cheatum of Columbia, Raymond Cheatum of Las Vegas, Debra Cheatum of Osage Beach, Charles Reese of Wellsville, Raymond Jackson of Columbia; sisters: Helen Britt(Delbert) of Fulton, Mae Jean Butler of Mexico; brother, David Cheatum of Columbia; grandchildren: Raeleesha(William) of Charlotte, NC, Raniqua(Ty) of Atlanta, GA, Alexus of Jefferson City, Kayana(Isaac), Domionte, Diamond, Ladame, Akile, Darius(DJ), Damerian, Tamijah, Logan, Landon all of Columbia; 25 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; bonus child, Alvino Cheatum, Fur babies: Princess, Queenie, and Buddy; siblings, Annie Worley, Ethel Kemp, Joseph(JW), Charles(Puddy) Cheatum, Omar Cheatum, Frank Cheatom, Raymond Cheatum.
The family will receive friends for a visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Parker-Millard Funeral Service. Interment will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
