Doris T. Clark "Verge", age 93, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, in Palm Bay, Florida. Born on January 19, 1932, in Portland Maine, Doris lived a long and meaningful life marked by dedication to her family, faith, and work.

A proud graduate of Portland High School in Portland Maine, Doris carried the values of hard work and perseverance throughout her life. She dedicated over 30 years of service to the Holiday Inn, where her commitment and diligence left a lasting impression on colleagues and guests alike.

Doris was a devoted Protestant and a faithful member of the Nazarene Church. Her spiritual life was a cornerstone of her identity and guided her actions with grace and compassion.

She will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and a steadfast friend. Her kind and sweet nature deeply touched all who knew her.

Doris is survived by her son Jeffery Clark; daughter Sandra Stefanko; son-in-law Thomas Stefanko; grandsons Thomas Stefanko II and Gregory Stefanko; brother Thomas Verge and sister-in-law Sandy Verge; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Ralf and Elsie Verge, along with many brothers and sisters.

A lifelong animal lover, Doris shared a special bond with her beloved bulldogs Ozzie and Zeus, who brought her great joy and companionship.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in peace.
