Doris Ivane Forsythe Emerton passed away July 17 2025 at the age of 67 in Sparta, TN.
She was born December 6, 1957 in Spencer, Tennessee to the late Lloyd and Sara Forsythe.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; daughter, April Lynn Burks; brother, Jimmy Forsythe, Jonnie Forsythe; sister, Emma Jene Forsythe, Sarah Johnson, Ola Mae Forsythe.
She is survived by her daughters, Wendy (Adam) Barnes, Patricia Burks; son, Jerry Mooneyham; brothers, Lloyd Forsythe, Jerry Wayne Forsythe; sisters, Stella Davis, Dorothy Jones; grandchildren, Brittany Dodd, Kaylie Anderson; great grandchildren, Blakely Dodd, Payton Dodd.
Arrangements:
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. Service starting at 2:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Interment at Spencer Town Cemetery. Officiating will be Barry Whiteaker.
