Doris Nix Farris, age 90, of Hoschton, GA, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Farris; parents, Isaac Nix and Hazel Burel Nix; brother, Jerry Nix; sister, Diane Nix Wiley. Mrs. Farris is survived by her brother, John (Jeanette) Nix of Hoschton, GA; brother-in-law, Kenneth Wiley of Auburn, GA; nephews, Scott (April) Wiley, Paula (Brian) Campbell, Andre Groom, Kim (Eric) Kisling, Lori (Shane) Keigans; several great-nieces and great-nephews. Mrs. Farris was born August 1, 1935 in Auburn, GA. She was a 1955 graduate of Winder Barrow High School. Doris was a retired Hair Dresser and had a shop in Chamblee, GA and later in Gautier, Ms. She was a member of Auburn Baptist Church, Auburn, GA.
