FULTON--Doris Gray Gann, 87, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Diversicare of Amory. She was born November 10, 1938, to the late Marvin Gray and the late Susie Mae Gray in Fulton. Doris was a devoted member of Union Grove Baptist Church, where she found strength in her faith and fellowship with her church family. She enjoyed a long and successful career spanning 42 years, working with various finance companies, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism. She was actively involved in her community, serving as past president of the Fulton Pilot Club and as a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Doris valued service and leadership and gave generously of her time to organizations she cared deeply about. In her free time, Doris loved traveling, working in her yard, and spending time outdoors. Above all else, she treasured time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. Doris will be remembered for her kindness, strong work ethic, and deep love for her family and community.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Amos, and Bro. Jackie Gray officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday January 31st, at Senter Funeral Home.

She is survived by her daughter, Dixie (Chris) Sugg of Amory; grandsons, Christopher Sugg and Andrew Sugg, both of Amory; brothers, Hilman Gray and Gary (Carola) Gray, both of Fulton, and her sister, Wanda (Jimmy) Mathis of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Gann; parents, Marvin and Susie Mae Gray; sister in laws, Doris Guntharp and her husband, JC; Annie Bell McCarley and her husband, Lyndel and Faye Gray; and her two best friends, Charlene and Gola Senter.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Diversicare of Amory and Sanctuary Hospice for the compassionate and wonderful care she received.
