Doris Goman Obituary
Doris A. Goman, 79, of Schaghticoke, entered into rest on September 28, 2022, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
The daughter of the late Hamilton and May (Dufrense) Elliott, Doris was born on December 8, 1942, in Lake Placid, New York.
Mrs. Goman was employed with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for 20+ years until retirement.
Beloved wife of 58 years to Robert P. Goman Jr., whom she married on July 14, 1964, in Troy, New York. Loving mother of Robert W. (Rebecca) Goman and Tanya D. (Mark) Becker. Cherished grandmother of Amanda Becker, Nicholas Goman, Jacob Goman, Dillan Becker, and Shawn Becker.
Besides her parents, Doris was predeceased by one daughter, Christina M. Goman.
The Goman Family wishes to express sincere thanks to: Janet Bayly, The Nursing Staff of Community Hospice, and Shawn Arberger who helped with Doris' care through this difficult time.
Cremation took place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. The Goman Family will honor Doris' memory in a private way.
