Doris J Graff

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Doris Jane Graff (nee Lasee) of Mequon. She passed away peacefully with family by her side on the early morning of September 9, 2025, at the age of 96.

She was born in Catawba, Wisconsin on September 18, 1928, the daughter of Sylvester and Elise Lasee. On July, 27 th 1957 she married Allen Graff. The couple settled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where they started their family. They moved to Mequon in February of 1975. Allen proceeded her in death in September of 1992.

Doris cherished the large family gatherings where she grew up in Ogema, Wisconsin. . In her later years, she found joy in crocheting, creating many pieces that earned awards for their craftsmanship.

She is survived by her children Karen (the late Donny) Pelczynski, Nancy Penner, Diane Morris and Steve (the late Jill) Graff. Very proud grandmother of Kelly Morris, Sean Penner, Ashley (Collin) Tesar, Austin Pelczynski, Julia, AJ and Tommy Graff. Joyful great grandmother of Charlotte Tesar. Also loved by nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Allen, sister Maxine and bothers Robert, LeRoy and Ray.

Visitation will be held at Lumen Christi Catholic Church in Mequon on Monday, September 15, 2025 from 10:00 am until noon. Immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Ozaukee County Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
