Tamara Graff Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mercer Funeral Home - Holton on Sep. 12, 2025.
Tamara "Tammy" Kay Graff, 54, of Holton, Kansas, passed away on September 10, 2025. She was born on November 24, 1970, in Holton, the daughter of Bruce Cox and Deborah Davies.

Tammy was a devoted wife, proud mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. A gifted athlete, she was a standout in both volleyball and track, holding records at Holton High School and Emporia State University. After college, she moved to California, where she met her husband, Bill Graff. They later lived in various places across the country before recently returning to her roots in Holton. Tammy worked at ADP for 23 years, where her dedication and professionalism left a lasting impression on colleagues.

She married Bill Graff on April 14, 2001, and together they shared 25 years of love and marriage. She is survived by her husband Bill; her son Mason (Delaney) Graff; stepson Dylan (Gabby) Graff; and granddaughter Addyson, all of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her parents Bruce (Paula) Cox and Deborah Davies; her sister Becky (Jack) Martin of Holton; her brother Brian (Audrey) Cox of Meriden; her stepsiblings; sisters-in-law Betty Jean (Dennis) Hopple of Pennsylvania and Karen Barzilay of California; and many special nieces and nephews, including a great-niece and great-nephew.

Tammy enjoyed supporting the KU Jayhawks, Kansas City Chiefs, and Penn State Nittany Lions. She loved live music, camping, and traveling the world with family. She cherished the time spent on many special girls' trips with her mom, sister, sister-in-law, and niece. Tammy was known for her warm giving heart, quiet strength, quick wit, and the laughter and joy she brought to everyone around her. She kept a close, tight circle-if you were part of it, you knew just how special you were to her.

A private family graveside service will be held. A public celebration of Tammy's life will take place at The Courtyard Event Center, located on the east side of The Holton Square at 426 Pennsylvania Ave, Holton, Kansas, on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. In Tammy's honor, feel free to wear your favorite sports attire.

In lieu of flowers, you may make donations at the Denison State Bank to the "Tamara K Graff Memorial Fund" to benefit the Holton High School Athletics Department or mail to Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
