Doris Grigsby Obituary
EMINENCE
Doris (Maddox) Grigsby, age 72, of Eminence, passed away Feb. 6, 2026. She was the daughter of the late William Robert and Hattie Lee (Hardin) Maddox and was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert "Bobby" Grigsby; a sister, Lena Stivers and two brothers, William "Tommy" Maddox and Junior Maddox.
She is survived by her children, Lisa Rice (Robert), Randy Arington (Rachel) and
Lance Arington (Jami); stepchildren, Robert Tony Grigsby (Tabbie), Stephen Delane Grigsby (Patsy) and Laurie Beth Grigsby-Moore (David); siblings, Wanda Godbey, C.W. Maddox and Gene Maddox ;17 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 12, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Thursday. Pastor Rick Downing, pastor of Pleasureville Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Eminence Cemetery.
