Doris Adeline Hasby

Doris A. Hasby, age 87, of Hartford, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones at the Waterford of Hartford.

Doris was born on August 28, 1938, in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, to George and Minnie (née Bye) Tollefson. She was united in marriage to Donald Hasby on January 26, 1958, at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls.

Doris enjoyed playing cards, especially with her friends at the Senior Center, and spending time playing games on the computer. She deeply cherished time with her family and held a special place in her heart for her beloved cat, Lucky, whose companionship brought her great comfort and joy.

She is survived by her children: Terry (Anne) Hasby of Hartford; Julie (William Nabor) Hasby of Mauston; Ricky (Dawn) Hasby of Rubicon; Kristi Hasby of West Bend; and Randy (Debora) Hasby of Hartford. She is further survived by 13 grandchildren, Damon, Amanda (Kevin), Nicholas (Leslie), Keisha, Donald (Rachael), Breanne (Trevor), Jeremy, Alexander (Miranda), Jared (Cortney), Lucas, Mathew, and Leah; granddaughter-in-law, Katey; and 16 great-grandchildren. Doris is also survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Donald Hasby; her parents, George and Minnie Tollefson; her siblings, Gordon (Minnie), Harry (Diane), and Deloris (Jack) Johnsrud; and her grandson, Jeffery Hasby.

Funeral services for Doris will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union Street, Hartford, Wisconsin 53027). Family and friends are invited to greet the family from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place immediately afterward at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hartford.
