Doris G. Holder

Doris G. Holder, 88, of 310 Saco Street, Greenwood, widow of Harold B. Holder, died Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Fountain Inn, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Maggie "Ellie" Deason Gault. She was a homemaker and was of the Church of God faith. Surviving is a daughter, Brenda Lightsey (Robert) of Jacksonville, FL; a son, Larry Holder (Earline) of Greenwood; a brother, Fred Gault of Pelzer; grandchildren, Robby Lightsey (Susan) and Renae Stewart (Owen), both of Jacksonville, Ken Boyter (Denise) of Seneca, Kim Turner and Shayne Holder, both of Greenwood; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Boyter; a son, Wayne Holder; and brothers, Murphy Gault, Elbert Gault, Bobby Gault and Hoyt Gault. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnnie Waller officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to Susan G.
