Doris Knudsen Obituary
MOUNT WOLF – Doris Marie (McWilliams) Knudsen, 89 formerly of Mount Wolf, passed away, Monday, March 16, 2026, at Country Meadows of Leader Heights. She was the wife of William Knudsen whom she married 65 years ago on March 19, 1960.
Doris was born on December 6, 1936, in Brogueville, PA and was the daughter of the late Emory and Nora (McKinsey) McWilliams.
She graduated from William Penn Senor High School in York, PA. She attended North Hills Bible Church in York, PA.
In addition to her husband, Doris is survived by her daughter, Monica Tyson and her husband Dale of Red Lion, PA; two grandchildren, Timothy and Anya, and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, and her eight brothers.
Her funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA. Her viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:00 AM, Thursday at the funeral home. Her burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery in York, PA.
