Doris Kurtz Obituary
She was born in Dennison on September 23, 1946 to the late Charles W. and Helen Marie (Schryock) Etter and was preceded by her husband, Daniel E. Kurtz.
She had worked at L.J. Smith at Bowerstown and at Alsco in Gnadenhutten. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Dover.
Doris is survived by her daughter Kimberly Rose Bowsher of Dover; 3 grandchildren, Spencer Grant, Preston Crites, and A.J. Bowsher; great granddaughter Leonna Crites; her sister Evelyn Hart of Newcomerstown and sister-in-law Sandra Etter of West Lafayette.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers Earl Etter and Reuben Etter.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Community Baptist Church in Dover with Pastor Andy McClung officiating.
